As Executive Director of Goldman Sachs 10,000 Small Businesses Houston, Kimberly has a passion for helping small businesses scale and provide opportunities to create jobs and economic growth in communities throughout the Greater Houston Area. Prior to her role as Executive Director, Kimberly had an extensive background in organizational and employee development in leadership roles within Fortune 500 companies, non-profit, government, and education sectors.
Kimberly holds a Ph.D. Leadership Studies, and an M.A. in Sociology/Leadership from Our Lady of the Lake University. Her thesis focused on Generational Differences and Ideal Leader Behavior in a Multigenerational Workforce. Kimberly remains involved in the community as a DIG Committee Board member of the YMCA of Greater Houston, treasurer for her Homeowners Association, and a volunteer for Houston Child Advocates.
A native of Detroit Michigan, Dr. Burroughs has resided in Houston for over 30 years and considers Houston home.
